If you are unable to install a driver for your device automatically or the driver from Garmin Express does not work for your device, be sure to unzip the file before running the driver installer. Garmin Express may require you to reboot in order to finish the update.
If your device has a web browser, you can check for updates by visiting our Support Page. If you don’t have a web browser, you can check manually using the Netwalk software on the CD provided with your product.
If you are having difficulty installing your drivers and you do not know how to use the Ectravision Installation Utility, visit our Installation Help & FAQ page for instructions and steps on how to use the program.
Then simply click Fix My Drivers button and follow the onscreen instructions. We recommend that you make a complete backup of your current driver files before updating. This driver update utility does not change your device settings or change your computer. Installation and driver backup are only completed when you completely re-start your computer. After the update is completed and your device is restarted, you may need to clear the driver cache to ensure that updates are properly installed and loaded.
If you haven’t already, you need to download and install the latest ECS Firmware Update Utility before you can use this application. You can download the Firmware Update Utility program from www.mfg.com/support/ECS_Receivers
