What It Does: After you’ve selected the object you want to manipulate, you can use the brush to combine layer properties like size, opacity, and strength of the highlight or shadow, or blend colors together. You can manipulate individual colors by clicking on the slider on the top of layer and dragging up or down. Once you’ve changed a property you can use the dialog box to confirm the changes, or double-click on the color or on one of the small squares on the right side of the dialog box to bring up the Color Picker. Here you can choose new colors from a range of colors, or use the Current Color box to choose the color from the current document.

Adjustment Stack – Your image can have many layers, each representing a different adjustment like vignetting, exposure, brightness, contrast, and many more. You can use the Adjustment Stack to apply the same adjustments to all of the layers. Click on the Adjustments button in the workspace when the Adjustments Stack palette is open, then use the Adjustments panel to apply the effects to your individual layers.
